Ready for the 2027 obligation

Mandatory time registration, made simple.

Under the government’s plans, from 2027 every employer in Belgium must record their employees’ working time objectively. With Flexance, your employees start and stop their working day and breaks with a single tap, on their phone or in the browser. In the office, in the workshop or on site.

A Belgian product, available in Dutch and French. Works in the browser and on your phone.

What the new rules require. And how Flexance delivers.

The system has to be objective, reliable and accessible. You don’t need a time clock, but you do need a record that’s accurate and that you can show.

Objective

Recorded in the moment

Employees start and stop their day and breaks on their phone. No more filling in hours after the fact on a Friday evening.

Reliable

Every correction leaves a trail

You can change a time afterwards, but always with a reason. Every change stays visible: who, when and why.

Accessible

Always ready for an inspection

Overviews per employee, week and month, which you export for your payroll provider or for an inspection.

See who’s working. And what needs attention.

A live view of who’s working, what’s been worked today and who’s absent. Too long without a break, a day or week that runs too long, rest that’s too short or a working day left open? You see it straight away under To review, and fix it before it becomes a problem.

Your limitsSet them for the whole organisation, per group or per employee.
You decide what countsAny alert can be switched off.
Clocking in always worksAn alert never blocks a registration.

Two ways to use Flexance.

Some companies simply want to comply with the law. Others also want to know where every hour goes. Flexance does both, in the same app.

Just the working day

Start, breaks and end of the day, per employee. Corrections come with a reason, and you export for your payroll provider. Nothing more.

For garages and dealerships, manufacturing and logistics, offices, shops and any other employer.

How working day registration works

Hours on sites and projects

Every hour is linked to a project and a task, whether your crew is on site or your team is in the office. You see which projects make money and which don’t.

For landscaping, construction and renovation, but also for IT companies, engineering firms and anyone who works on projects.

How project registration works

Start with what’s required. Grow into what pays.

Start with time registration only, to comply. Working on projects and want to get more out of those hours? Switch plans without re-entering anything.

Step 1

Time Registration

Compliant with the new rules. Start, end and breaks per employee, with change history and export.

Step 2

Basic

Hours on projects, tasks and subtasks. Link machines and vehicles. Full job costing per project.

Step 3

Advanced

Peppol invoicing, employee and project planning, and soon quotes, all built on the same hours.

“After 10 years of working with timesheets and Excel, we finally have everything in one clear overview! Our people love it too. But most importantly: Koen really thinks along with us to tailor it to our needs. I can’t recommend Flexance enough!”

Frequently asked questions

Does Flexance comply with the mandatory time registration?

Flexance records the daily working time of each employee in an objective, verifiable way. The legal text is still being drafted; we follow it closely and adapt Flexance where needed.

Do my employees need a separate app?

No. Flexance runs in the browser, on phones and on computers. There’s nothing to install, but anyone can add Flexance to their phone’s home screen, so it opens like an app. You create an account for each employee and send them an invitation. They then choose a password and can start right away.

Can I switch to a more complete plan later?

Yes. Your recorded hours stay exactly where they are; you simply add projects, machines and job costing.

Where is my data stored?

All our servers are in the European Union. The app and the database run in a data centre in Frankfurt (Germany). Backups are made automatically, plus an encrypted copy on a separate server in Belgium. All traffic is encrypted, and we handle your data in line with the GDPR. More in our privacy policy.
